The 'like' button is an incredible invention that have changed the way we post and share things in social network.
The biggest different between pre-'like' era and post-'like' era is we expect more on what we post, feeling disappointed when no one 'like' it. we tend to post more exaggerate and bizarre photo or sentence to get attention and get the 'like'.
We even become addicted and spend more time in facebook, just because we are waiting people to 'like' the post. We keep log in the facebook and check whether the 'like' figure has been increase or not. The 'like' button has controlled our mood, feeling happy when more and more 'like' pouring in and vise versa.
Besides, clicking 'like' on others status has became our habit. We 'like' it because it is really nice, beautiful, great, ditto...etc and sometime we like it for opposite. On the other hand, some even treat the 'like' button as a way of keep in touch so that others wont forget about them ( both parties might seldom meet or chat in reality). They will 'like' almost all your posts and sometime comment about your post.
In fact, we have lost ourselves on the original purpose of posting - just for expression and not for gaining the 'like'.
